3 Reasons Xbox Cloud Gaming makes sense on a console (and 1 drawback)

In addition to announcing a free tier today, the ups and downs also announced two ways it changed payment for artists. The first is a direct payment system to a new artist, which will send the portion of each monthly subscription fee for HiFi Plus to the artist they mostly encourage. Tidal said that direct payments to this artist will be given to artists other than their royalties, but do not reveal the percentage of cutting artists will receive in today’s announcement.

Console Hopping

If you use the Xbox One, and you don’t have access to the Xbox Series X, there is a decent opportunity you experience a little FOMO when it comes to the newest in the new game. Some games were released in the past recent, and a large number of games released in the near future, will only be played on the Xbox Series X and S console.

With Xbox Cloud Gaming, some Xbox Series X games can be played in the cloud. Instead of buying Xbox Series X only to play games like RiftBreaker, Xbox Cloud Gaming can be used to play games on the Xbox One.

No Installs

On a note that is very similar to the above point, the Xbox Cloud Gaming allows you to play games without downloading the game. If you use the most basic iteration of whatever the Xbox you have, you might have a limited hard drive space. If you are the type of person who plays many different games, this system allows you to have access to the game without the need to have every game completely downloaded.

Xbox Cloud Gaming also opens the door to the type of new game testing model. If you see a game that you might like, jump and play. If you like it very much, download everything so you have access to the game forever.

One potential drawback

As with any Cloud Media platform, you don’t have access to the Xbox Cloud Forever game game. Or at least you don’t have to, definitely have access forever. If you already have a game, this system won’t be able to take these access from you – but if you only have played the game with this system, there is always the possibility that it will not be available at some point of the distant future.

Like Netflix or Spotify, the Xbox Cloud Gaming allows you to access the game organized by the client – in this case Microsoft. If you play the game on this platform and fall in love, you might finally want to drop the amount of full cash on the game to have a physical copy.
