Updates to Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro are sent on November 17, 2021 which aims to correct the problem of a clear fingerprint sensor tapped by several users over the past few weeks. Per Verizon release about this software update, “The software update currently increases the performance of your device’s fingerprint sensor.” This release includes Android security patches for October 2021, and includes the SD1A.210817.037.A1 software version.
Fingerprint sensor on Pixel 6
Previously this November bug which was relatively large appeared on the Google Pixel device 6. Some users report that the freckle’s fingerprint scanner, and others suggest that after some are used, their fingerprint scanner stops working completely.
Some users report that battery drainage and fingerprint scanner function are directly related. Pixel 6 does have several functions of the battery saver feature, reducing the power drying function because the device’s battery reaches zero – but the fingerprint sensor may not have a connection to this feature in terms of anything. Resets are hard to appear to work for some users, while others have not seen acceptable solutions.
This update is likely to solve the problem – or at least take piercing connecting points for a large number of users. Everything is better than calling a feature bug.
How do I update Pixel 6 software?
If you want to update Google Pixel 6 or Google Pixel 6 Pro, head to your device settings application, or drag it down your notification menu twice to find a gear logo, and tap. In settings, scroll down to the system and tap, find the system update and tap, and “Check for updates.”
If you look at this article in mid-November, 2021, you might not have update this software. If you go to settings – about the phone – Android version – and see your “wake up number”, you will see something like SD1A.210817.036. The version you have to get (soon) has number 037 at the end. The “A1” section in the Verizon record is for Verizon devices specifically.
