Battlefield 2042 has been officially launched after a turbulent initial access period. Along with the full game, the dice has sent a daily patch, but unfortunately, the update is small and doesn’t seem to fix many problems that players have. While the dice promises that more updates come in the future, it seems that every-one patch is not enough to save Battlefield 2042 from Fan Blowback.
Battlefield 2042 day-one patch fixes
The dice details the contents of the daily patch on the battlefield website. Even though it’s small, it still fixes some of the main problems, starting with the rubbing problem that has been reported by many players.
Rubbeling is a problem where enemy players seem to be teleported from one position to another, which is clearly making it difficult to fight them in competitive games like Battlefield. Dice said that he had “enhanced the server side implemented” intended to reduce the problem, so hopefully, players will experience more rare problems – or not at all – in their multiplayer match.
The update must also reduce the stalling of the separating map, but the dice says that for now, it still explores the decrease report on another map. They seem to be the two biggest improvements contained in fillings, but there are other changes too. For example, fillings fix some problems related to the danger zone, including one that reveals the location of the player on the map even when they should not be visible or not visible by other players.
Battlefield 2042 getting massacred on Steam
If you need an indication that a daily update is not enough for the player, you only need to see steam. With the official launch of Battlefield 2042 there was an opportunity for players to review the game in Steam, and so far, not satisfied players made their voices hear. At the time of this writing, Battlefield 2042 has received feedback “mostly negative” from the player in Steam, with more than 13,000 reviews.
